Invitation from old classmates

Yesterday I got a letter, that is not something that happens all that often, most of my window envelopes come through the internet (which is a great thing).

Anyhow this letter was an invitation from two of my older classmates from my first school (where I went from when I was 7 to 16 of age). It has now been 10 years since I left that school and that apparently is a reason to celebrate.
I don't really know what to think of this. These years of school is not something I think back of with great joy, classes were OK, pretty boring and I lacked challenges, but at least I learned some things and had an OK relationship to most of the teachers (especially those teaching natural science classes). The breaks on the other hand, was something I often dreaded. Most of the time in the low classes I just walked around by myself on the school trying to avoid the other kids. In the higher classes I was involved in some roleplaying and card games with what I now know is demonic content which took up all of the breaks and a lot of my spare time also, it helped me in the way that it made it easier for me to have social relations with the other kids with the same interests, but now I know that it sure wasn't a healthy interest.

Anyhow it would be interesting to see what has become of my old classmates, as such I have nothing against any of them, I just don't think going to the kind of school we have in Denmark was the best thing for me back then. I could have learned a lot more in lots of other ways instead of going to school and I was not prepared for the rough environment that a school with so many kids with different backgrounds is, kids can sadly be very cruel at times and before going to school I had lived a very protected life at home. I actually think we had a pretty good environment at our school compared to many other schools (especially the big school one or two kilometers from ours), but for me it was still to rough.
Time will show if I will be able to go to Lolland in about a month where this gathering of old classmates will be, there is quite a distance to travel and I am not sure I am able to pull out a few days of my calendar to go there (if I am to go to Lolland I want to visit my sister and her kids also), but if I do have the time I think I will go.
