Searching for Jim Gray on mturk

As my previous post also told about there is a online search going on for the Tenacious (Jim Gray's boat) where people online are to trying and determine if there is a boat in satellite images. Many of the pictures are quite noise and in the 80 tasks I have done I think I have had quite a few false positives.
It seems some better quality pictures have started showing up among the tasks on mturk, I think they are infrared, I think there is better chance that they will find actual boats and not just noise.

I am starting to wonder if this really does help anything at all, but I continue doing a few tasks now and then, it must be terrible for the family not knowing what has happened.
