Thermometer in window

I just put up an outdoor thermometer in my window.
It found it at Brugsen in Ans when I was getting groceries there earlier this week, it didn't cost much so I guess I shouldn't expect the greatest precision.

I have an idea that where I live here, uphill from Ans and Tange Sø is pretty cold in winters, compared to the rest of Denmark, also this is one of the areas the furthest away from water in Denmark, which again should mean more extreme temperatures.
Often when people come from Ans up here they get a bit surprised at how strong the wind is here compared to in Ans, but that probably also has to do with the fact that Ans is in a little valley and especially shielded from the wind from west which is the major wind direction here in Denmark.

I have a little plan of keeping track of how the temperature inside (where I also have a thermometer) follow the trend outside, I don't know if I will be able to use these data for anything useful, but I guess I am just the kind of person who likes to do things little measurements like this, if for nothings else then for the training and experience it gives.
